  1. Prepare Dry ingredients
  2. Provide 120 g Flour(cake)
  3. You need 3/4 tsp Baking powder
  4. Use 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  5. Provide 60 g Brown sugar

  7. Provide 1 pinch Chopped walnut

  9. You need 3 pcs Babana

Steps to make Banana walnut cake:
  1. Sift the flour, add all dry ingredients (except the chopped walnut) and mix well. (leave a pinch of brown sugar for later)
  2. Melt the butter, mash the bananas and stir all wet ingredients well.(leave some melted butter for later)
  3. Mix both the dry and wet ingredients together.
  4. Put parchment paper inside a loaf tray, then pour the ingredient into it. Evenly spread the brown sugar on the top (left from step 1) and squirt a line of melted butter (left from step 2) before baking it.
  5. 150 degree for 30 mins, 175 degree for 5 mins. Remove the loaf tray and leave the cake cool.

Mix thoroughly and pour mixture into the prepared pan. Then in a separate bowl mash the bananas to a pulp with a large fork and briefly whisk them into the cake mixture. Now fold in the chopped walnuts and orange and lemon zests. Spoon the cake mixture into the prepared tin, level it off on top with the back of the spoon and sprinkle with the demerara sugar. Bake for about one hour, until well risen and golden brown.
