- Get 200 gm paneer
- Get 3 medium sized onions chopped
- Get 1 onion cut into wedges
- Prepare 1 capsicum cut into wedges
- Provide 3 tomatoes pureed

- Use 5-6 garlic cloves
- Take 1 inch ginger
- Prepare 1/2 cup walnuts
- Use 2 tbsp ghee
- Provide 2 tbsp oil
- You need 1 tsp coriander powder
- Take 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- Take 1 tsp cumin powder
- Get 1 tsp garam masala
- Take 1 tbsp butter
- Provide As needed Kasuri Methi
- Get 2 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
- Use to taste Salt
Instructions to make Paneer walnut masala:
- In a kadai, add 1 tbsp ghee and 1 tbsp oil and saute the onions to transparent state, add green chillies, garlic and ginger, saute till the raw smell goes off. Add walnuts and saute. Allow to cool and make a thick paste by adding little water.
- In a pan, add 1 tbsp ghee, saute the onion wedges, capsicum wedges and paneer one by one. Make the tomato puree.
- In a kadai, add butter and little oil and saute the thick paste of onions and walnut, then add the tomato puree and saute till the raw smell goes off. Now add salt, the spice powders one by one. Add little water and cook till the oil separates out. Add the onion wedges, capsicum wedges and panner and cook for about 10 minutes till the masala gets combined with the paneer. Garnish with methi leaves and coriander leaves. Paneer walnut masala is ready!
